Toyota Dealership in Kelowna, BC goes green with LED lights. Thirty-seven 1000W metal halide luminaires were replaced with 200W LEDs to illuminate Toyota auto dealership parking lot in Kelowna, reducing both the “bottom line’ and the environmental footprint.
The owner states that “we can get as much light output from a 200 watt fixture as we did from a 1000 watt fixture” With an expected 12 months projected savings of $10,000 to $12,000, it’s makes good business sense. Also, local utility company incentives helped seal the deal.
